Epic final at Gainesville

In an epic final the UCF Knights could not defeat the UF Gators at their home in the 2011 Collegiate Rugby Florida Cup. The UCF Knights kept the score in first half 6-5 scoring two penalty kicks. By the end of the first half the UF Gators score another try with another conversion setting the score 12-6. The Rugby Magazine online recently posted the US ranks for collegiate rugby Men’s DI-AA and the UCF Knights are #25. As the lists move up and down ranking every team according to its performance, the UCF Knights maintain themselves within the best 25 collegiate rugby teams in the United States. New Players

UCF Rugby Club is always looking for new players! We welcome players of any skill level so no prior experience is necessary. All that is asked is hard effort and a willingness to learn the skills as quick and masterful as possible.

Rugby uses the skills of all sports including but not limited to; football, soccer, wrestling, basketball, track and many more. If you miss the action of playing an organized sport, then rugby may be an option for you.
